Design works in KOMPAS
The software product KOMPAS is subdivided on two systems:
1. KOMPAS-Graph – gives the broadest possibilities of automation of construction work in various industries. It is successfully used in machine-building designing, at design-civil work, drawing up of various plans and schemes. (2D – designing)
2. KOMPAS-3D – the system of the 3D-solid-state modelling containing universal system of automated designing KOMPAS-Graph and the module of designing of specifications. All of them are easy in development, have Russian-speaking the interface and help system. (3D-designing)



The software product 3D can be used KOMPAS-Graph or KOMPAS as separately for simple designing and as a part of complex decisions for design in directions:
1. Mechanical engineering
2. Instrument making
3. Architecture and building

All libraries ASCON work exclusively under system KOMPAS. An exception is the Electronic directory of the designer – works independently, without KOMPAS. It can be used together with alternative CAD systems.

System KOMPAS-3D allows to realise classical process of 3D-parametrical designing – from idea to associative volume model, from model to the design documentation.

The basic components KOMPAS-3D – actually system of 3D-solid-state modelling, universal system of the automated designing KOMPAS-Graph and the module of designing of specifications. All of them are easy in development, have Russian-speaking the interface and help system.



Company ASCON develops various applications in the field of the 3D-modelling, supplementing features of KOMPAS-3D by effective toolkit for the decision of specialised engineering problems. For automation of working out and release of design documentation ASCON offers universal system of the automated designing a KOMPAS-Graph, allowing in a high-speed mode to let out drawings of products, schemes, specifications, various text documents, tables, instructions and other documents.

Flexibility of adjustment of system and considerable quantity of applied libraries and appendices for KOMPAS-Graph allow to close almost all problems of the user connected with release of engineering specifications.

KOMPAS-Graph automatically generates associative kinds of 3D-models (including cuts, sections, local cuts, local kinds, kinds on an arrow, kinds with rupture). All of them associated with model: changes in model lead to image change on the drawing. Standard kinds automatically are under construction in projective communication. The data in the basic inscription of the drawing (a designation, the name, weight) is synchronised with the data from 3D-model.
